Please join us in welcoming Jenny Coates as the new Secretary of the IBO Executive Board! Jenny is a consumer business executive with more than 25 years of experience building, scaling, and transforming brands across retail, wholesale, e-commerce, merchandising, operations, and commercial strategy. Most recently President of Boathouse Sports, she is also the founder of JLC Strategic Advisory, where she works with consumer businesses navigating growth, transformation, and significant value-creation opportunities. Beyond her professional work, Jenny is an active nonprofit and community leader. She is currently developing a project with We Are Global Irish focused on strengthening connections among Irish and Irish-diaspora retailers, consumer brands, and entrepreneurs. Jenny is excited to bring together two things that have been important throughout her life: building businesses and being Irish. She looks forward to working with the IBO Board and its members to help strengthen and grow New York’s Irish business community.
